God Will Surprise!
July 5th, 2011 by J.D. - A Teacher & Mother
I still remember the day I got saved. I was in my therapist’s office earlier that day. I had been going there for a few years. It started out as marriage counseling but at this point in my life my ex-husband had already walked out on therapy and I was going alone. I had repaired a lot in me at this point and my life was getting better, even though I was in the midst of separation, heading for divorce.
My therapist talked to me that day about my empty spaces. What did I have at the end of the day when I wasn’t working and going 100 miles per hour raising two kids and taking care of a house on my own? When it came down to just me, being still, what did I have?
My therapist is a Christian and up until now she had never been so bold about Christ as she was this day. She simply said to me, “you need Jesus.”
I Worship to Give God Glory

In part 1 of this article I described why I need to Worship. In short, I need to Worship because I need to be in God's Presence.
In the second part of this article I will describe why, 'I worship to give God Glory'.
My confidence in my salvation expressed through Worship Glorifies God. My ability to Worship God is evidence of how God has saved me from my sin. My ability to freely and expressly Worship God is an example of God's Grace and Power over a person's life, to non-believers and believers. I ask myself often, what would I do if I was really free?
