My Plans, But Then God's Plans

When I first moved to Tyrone (PA), six years ago, I had a plan. I was going to live here for a year, complete my internship for school by serving in any way needed at Joshua House and then move back to Harrisburg where I had, in my opinion, fabulous plans for myself. I had everything figured out; However, as time passed by, it proved otherwise. It turned out that the only part of my plan that was also part of God’s plan was that I was supposed to serve in any way needed at Joshua House. I helped out with after school hours, youth church, planning the youth conferences, and had some of the kids over to my apartment for movie nights. As I spent time serving JHouse and in turn, Tyrone, I started to fall in love with the town. God started to plant the vision of Joshua House in my heart. Tyrone became a place to invest my life into and not just an internship
to bide my time at until I could get on with my life.

business owner. I chose business or rather God chose business for me. My dad started his own company when I was 10 and with that started the
family entrepreneurial mindset.
