Welcome to The KeyChurch Website!

I am Pastor Jacquie Babb.  I am the senior pastor of Keystone Church and Ministries.  I work along with my husband, Perry Babb, to bring the life and reality of the relationship with Jesus Christ into every day life.  We are very practical in our approach to the Gospel.   We believe that the principles of the Kingdom of God are as relevant as they were in biblical times and they come alive when applied today. The Bible is like an ‘owner’s manual’ that helps people navigate through life toward  their fullest potential.  It promotes healthy mindsets and gives answers to problems that we all encounter during our lifetime.

Join us every Sunday morning for live streaming on this website at 10:00am

Thank You, Jesus, for What You Have Done!

June 13, 2011 by P. Y. - A covenant member of Keystone Church & Teacher

I grew up attending the Catholic Church which was our family custom but did not really walk with God.  My older sister met a woman who invited her to a spirit-filled home fellowship group where she learned about having a personal relationship with Jesus. She would come home and tell me things that she had learned. When I was 16 years old, I went to visit my sister in college at Virginia Tech. It was there that I prayed with my sister to make Jesus Lord and Savior of my life.  It wasn’t until two years later that my real growth in the Lord began. I also attended Virginia Tech and got involved with a spirit-filled church there called Dayspring. I stayed in this fellowship for my four years in college learning and growing in my walk with Jesus.

God Is Just So Good

June 6, 2011 by S.B. - PSU Student

When I think about what God has done for me, I am blown away. I look at my life and cannot believe all that He has blessed me with.

Growing up I went to Catholic school and church. I knew who God was, knew that I could pray to Him, but I didn't understand his power and might. I didn't know what being in his presence was really like. My home life wasn't the best and tried to fill my days with outside activities as much as possible. I began babysitting for families that helped with Joshua House when I was in 6th or 7th grade. I was blown away by the love, grace, and compassion of the parents. I loved watching their kids and began doing it on a regular basis. There was peace in their homes, their kids were disciplined and well-behaved,...

Tommie's Journey of What God Did

May 23, 2011 by T.M. - A Covenant Member of Keystone Church & a Teacher

I fell 14 feet through the ceiling at KeyChurch. I am still alive. No brain damage, no head injury, no spinal cord injury, no broken legs, and only a few broken bones, talking and walking.
-------
First doctor report said my L1 Vertebrae had a 20-25% compression fx this injury would require back surgery. The next morning (following prayers), the MRI showed only a 10% compression fx, therefore, no need fro SX and only a back brace for a few weeks.
-------
I had dislocated all the bones in my wrist, damaged tendons & nerves.

God as a Cornerstone in my Life & Marriage

May 16, 2011 by M.W. - A wife & a mother

A little over a year and a half ago, my life was a disaster. As a mother, as a wife and as a person, I had fallen so short of who I wanted to be.  At one of the lowest points, I even wished to end my life.  God told me that He hadn't given up on me and that I shouldn't either.  Slowly but surely, I was crawling toward life again.  I took stock, I looked around me and decided that somehow I would regain my footing.  What I was really missing was that it was God who had plans for me. I was missing who needed to be in the lead. I didn't have to crawl, He wanted to carry me towards the new beginning. It was God who loved me enough to save me.  How on earth could I have ever thought that after all the turmoil and trauma I suffered that I could have done it without Him?  Moment by moment, things started taking shape, but it was only when I realized that I needed to put God first that  things got easier.

My Plans, But Then God's Plans

May 9, 2011 by J.K., Joshua House Administrative Assistant, Keychurch Covenant Member

When I first moved to Tyrone (PA), six years ago, I had a plan. I was going to live here for a year, complete my internship for school by serving in any way needed at Joshua House and then move back to Harrisburg where I had, in my opinion, fabulous plans for myself. I had everything figured out; However, as time passed by, it proved otherwise. It turned out that the only part of my plan that was also part of God’s plan was that I was supposed to serve in any way needed at Joshua House. I helped out with after school hours, youth church, planning the youth conferences, and had some of the kids over to my apartment for movie nights. As I spent time serving JHouse and in turn, Tyrone, I started to fall in love with the town. God started to plant the vision of Joshua House in my heart. Tyrone became a place to invest my life into and not just an internship to bide my time at until I could get on with my life.

Don’t Let Anyone Look Down on You Because You Are Young

May 2, 2011 by T.B. -  KeyGeneration Director

Since I was young I felt I needed to stand on one verse that would be my platform as I led in ministry and school:

2 Timothy 4:12 "Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."

When I was 7 I wanted to be President of the United States and I was never able to shake that calling but there is only 3 conventional ways that you can have to get into politics, 1) become a lawyer, 2) serve in the military and 3) be a business owner.  I chose business or rather God chose business for me.  My dad started his own company when I was 10 and with that started the family entrepreneurial mindset.
