Oh, Give Thanks unto the Lord for He is GOOD!

Lev. 22:29 And when you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the LORD, offer it of your own free will.

Psa. 26:7     That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving,
    And tell of all Your wondrous works.

Psa. 69:30     I will praise the name of God with a song,
    And will magnify Him with thanksgiving.

Jer. 30:19     Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving
    And the voice of those who make merry;
    I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish;
    I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.

2Cor. 9:10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness,  11 while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.

Thanksgiving directly correlates to the flow of blessing.  This is true for several reasons.  It focuses our hearts and minds on where our help comes from while a grateful heart releases His hand to continue to move on our behalf.

Col. 4:2 Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving;

Psa. 121:1     I will lift up my eyes to the hills-
    From whence comes my help?
2     My help comes from the LORD,
    Who made heaven and earth.
3     He will not allow your foot to be moved;
    He who keeps you will not slumber.
4     Behold, He who keeps Israel
    Shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5     The LORD is your keeper;
    The LORD is your shade at your right hand.
6     The sun shall not strike you by day,
    Nor the moon by night.
7     The LORD shall preserve you from all evil;
    He shall preserve your soul.
8     The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in
    From this time forth, and even forevermore.

Remember where your help comes from and give thanks with a grateful heart. 

Psa. 118:1     Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

This is Good News.  HE IS WORTHY!
